Back into blog mode due to a lovely story from Daphne of Cowra with a superb version of the Vintage miniature sewing machines Bom pattern.
Daphne's 92 year old mother has brilliantly hand stitched each one of the 12 sewing machine stitcheries which was then made into a queen sized quilt.
Apparently her Mum has an inexhaustible thirst for stitcheries so her daughters are always lining up projects for her. Lucky girls.
I also loved Daphne's story of Mums visit to the Optometrist brandishing a needle and thread, as test for the new glasses.
