Its my first time at the famous AQC and the building is gorgeous so fitting for the annual Australasian Quilt Convention. Chatted to so many of my favourite customers who seem to travel to soooo many shows, well they are essential if you want to view new things and stock up on fabric and goodies.
I certainly shopped for gifts for friends, just love that show and tell when you get home.
The girls from the Craft Haven of Berwick showed me their beautiful finished version of Vintage Miniature Sewing Machines Bom. Its in soft mauves and pinks and creams, such a pretty version of VMSM and they replaced the stabbing Frauline with a Casige machine, please contact the girls for their very pretty version while stocks last.
These two girls always make me laugh, Trish and Anne from Anne Gadsby Designs. Annes designs are superb, if you love roses you have to look up her work, relatively quick and so impressive. This is what I would be making if I didn't have so much sewing to do of my own work. Its in the when I retire basket.
Another favourite stall with the nicest people possible. Lesley and Kev from Fairies in my Garden.
Yummy yummy quilts and kits.
